GM Sergey Shipov’s live commentary on the Aronian – Kramnik match

In the run-up to the Anand – Gelfand World Championship match Vladimir Kramnik and Levon Aronian, ranked numbers 2 and 3 on the rating list, played a six-game match in Zurich.

It finished drawn after an exciting and extremely high quality battle that took place in a friendly atmosphere. Sergey Shipov commentated live on each game for Crestbook, and I translated his commentary live at ChessVibes. Below you’ll find a game viewer in which you can play through all the games with commentary, as well as links to the reports at ChessVibes and the original Russian commentary.
